Who I Am

Language and Photography

I attended linguistic studies in a university in Belgium, which is no straight way to photography, I admit, but ever since I got hold of a camera, I fell in love with it because of a strong liking for art and creation.

Photodocumentaries With Emotions

I travelled quite extensively, in parts of the world such as South East Asia … Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Java, Bali, Cambodia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, …  and also in India, China, Russia and Europe, just to mention a few.

I LOVE photographing sceneries and particularly people in my trips. My photos taste of “Photodocumentaries with Emotions” where faces and feelings, rituals and cultures, architecture and sceneries blend into one another

Why Call This Site Antiphotography

Have you ever felt that every topic in photography has already been studied : landscapes, nudes, macrophotography, … and the same poses, the same sunsets, … come along again and again?

That there is something to be done?

I once came to that conclusion myself … and I started transforming studio photographs into works in three dimensions, using installations, 3D representation, interactivity, …

What I Do

Travels

I am – mind you, this is a new coinage! – a phototraveller. The difference with being a “travel photographer”? Well, I take photos while I travel, which is a very pleasant way of visiting countries, whereas a travel photographer goes on travels in order to take photographs.

Art Works

I  carry on studio projects where the female body is my favourite means of communication and what I could call three-dimensional photography, my privileged way of expressing my feelings and emotions.
